Hello All:

Since this one is actually going to be on the list,Let me first
begin by saying, that with my current - unfinished setup, and
band conditions as they are, if anyone over 25 miles or so copied
me; I would fall out of my chair in amazement. On now to the
question: It has been asked more times than I can count. " What
frequency is " XR " transmitting on ??? " I promise you, that if
you WERE able to copy my signal, it " WILL " be at 184.322 KHz
carrier frequency. My ARGO display ( just for hair splittin ) shows
184322.52 ( low side ) to, 184322.56 ( high side ) set for 30 sec.
dots, normal speed. The operators who can copy me, have sent multiple
overnight captures, and the frequency does not move. The biggest
problem Gents, is that; I'm just not getting very much signal in the
air yet.

The email from Jay was sent directly to me, that's why when I responded,
it did not show up on the list. But for the record, here's that response;

Frequency accuracy? ( YES - 184322 KHz )
Transmitter power? ( Roughly 700mW at the ant. output )
Antenna? ( 30'coax Vertical, up 25' - 40' Tophat )
Matching coils right now consist of TV / Pwr supply coils
and various capacitors configured to get maximum output.
Major work to be done on the ant. That's why I'm doing it
during the summer, hoping to have a respectable setup by fall.

>Tough time of year to snag DX. Will keep an eye open for you.

Thanks Jay; in your spare time, when you've nothing better to do.
If you ever do overnight captures, it would be interesting to see
what might pop up from 3am until 7am Eastern. I appreciate you
looking for the signal to begin with. Barring T-storms, I'm
leaving it in QRSS-30 mode overnights

OK !! That should pretty much say what needs to be said.
I'm certainly hoping to have a much better radiating setup by fall.

73 to everyone, and have fun LOWfering. Andy - KU4XR
