John,

Thanks for looking last night.
I just got back in from working on the ground system.

I put down a 24 foot diameter circle of copper wire.
30 12 footers around the circle.
Also attached all the rest of the radial I already had.

The antenna measures 18 Ohms, and 230 PF.

Significant improvement. If you could look again I would appreciate it.
I am going to try to get a matching transformer out there before dark.

After looking through a night's captures of V's, L's and F's, I guess 
this one from 0520 UTC looks the closest to a complete callsign:

Some of the various letters overnight were very bright and clear, but 
it's tough to get a complete callsign at this frequency without some 
holes punched in it.

Anyway, the DX in this case was 73 miles.
