[Lowfer] Help with loop please

First, I apologize for the length of this post.

I have listened to lowfer signals off and on for 50 years, (beacons) with
moderate success - no real DX.

I live on a city lot 120x80. I have in my possession a roll of two-pair
telephone drop (well-insulated) about 400-450 long.

I am thinking of running this around the perimeter of my lot and joining the
wires together in color code fashion to make a 4 turn loop.

I am looking for any and all suggestions/ideas on how to do this: coupling,
components, etc.

Also, I have an old MFJ receive-only matchbox that is rated from 10khz to
30mhz. (Yeah, I know that is a stretch, but the "coils" in this thing are
chokes and huge in value, heck MFJ doesn't even recognize this device even
though it came from them and is plainly marked MFJ. I have the manual...it
is a series-tuned LC circuit with the only "variable "component the 365 MMF
cap.

I am open to all ideas.

Thanks to all for reading.
