[Lowfer] XGR PSK31 Tonight

Hi John, Jay,

Last 20 minutes or so scribblings on 'Grabulator II'.

Interesting. I was watching as Jay was revving up ahead of
the event in both modes, too; with an uncalibrated eyebone
I'd give PSK say 70% accuracy, FEC 90%. Jay was stronger,
so fewer hits on him.

FEC seemed wider, taking up perhaps a whole 100Hz(!). Is
that the nature of the beast? One would have thought that
the FEC bit would just have doubled the time, not the
spectrum. Is there a white paper or somesuch about it anywhere?

         Cheers,

                 Steve
