Hi Warren, Lowfers,

My antenna seems to favour signals from the north and south
of me, with quite pronounced nulls east and west.  Due to a
number of things being in the way, there's little possibility of
my re-orienting it.  I may try a short B.O.G. across the farm
field to my east once the cattle are moved for the winter.

Later in the evening, XGR/2 and /6 where very solid copy
copy by ear, to the point where my wife complained of the
"noise" on the radio!  Thanks for the comments.
