Thanks, too, from this end.
The W and Ms got reversed for some reason but this time there is no excuse
because I have receiving gear up there an could have checked before
departing last night. The upper character is always the vertical so the
stronger signal, this time the W, was in fact the vertical.
Further thought: Your report gives me more encouragement to add a second,
but westerly pointing, loop up there so that we can put a better handle on
the comparison between a loop and vertical of similar size at ~500miles
distance. Might also be a way of comparing TAG's more favorable soil to a
mountainous location having very poor soil. BTW, for those not following the
tests that have been going on since last Fall the loop is pointing SSW and
would normally be inferior to the vertical as received by Mitch straight to
the East of Ellsworth.
