[Lowfer] I finally received my FCC permit

After waiting for 14 months, the FCC has sent me the experimental radio
station construction permit for operation on 135.7-137.8 kHZ. My call is
WD2XYW. I am going to start out with a loop antenna and hope to be running
at least 250 watts. I am going to be using a pulse width modulator that I
already have for the transmitter final amplifier. The exciter will be an
Epson oscillator driving the "Ashlock final". I have ordered a single chip
CW identifier from K1EL to be used with the exciter.

The antenna tuning unit will be similar to one used by WD2XES. I am trying
to find a good vacuum variable for this tuning unit.

I still have a lot to do on this project but hope to be on the air in 2-3
months.

Warren, K2ORS, has been very helpful to me in getting started.
