Hi Bill,

Thanks for the suggestion. The weather has finally changed for
the good here and I'm hoping to get some antenna work done
over the coming weekend. One of the tasks will be to go over
everything out at the final/variometer enclosure and see how it
all faired thru the winter. I'm glad I keep records, so I'll know
if all is well out there by reading the final voltage and current
along with the antenna current.

My other job will be to re-erect my 160 meter inverted V that
fell victim to the ice storm a few weeks back. I also am going
to get started on putting up a 500 kHz. antenna so I can watch
for some of the activity there. I'm thinking of going with a big
triangle, with the apex up and the tuning/matching box at one
of the bottom corners. It might even double as an antenna to
use for the next SAQ transmission, with the appropriate parts
to resonate it way down there!

Nothing like the warmth of spring and seeing the robins back
to inspire a fella to do some aerial work!
