They work better than they should  ;)  BTW, don't let me forget my promise 
to simulate end towers, come spring - when I can walk over to the pull-up 
ropes without disappearing into the snow. All I have to do is drop two 50' 
wires from the tophat support ropes near the ends of the tophat down to the 
counterpoise.
