Hello The Net:

Had a nice ARGO copy of MP most of last night.

Playing with a new RX arrangement:

McKay-Dymek DA-100D e-probe at 15'
RX only up converter to 10.0 MHz  by Jackson Harbor Press (12$)
IC-703+ in CW-R and a INRAD 250 Hz last IF filter
PC with ARGO V1 b134

The converter LO uses a simple xtal and the drift is noticeable,
but manageable. I will soon try a PyroJoe 10 MHz ovenized REF oscillator,
in place of the raw xtal.

I started to look at SINAD sensitivity of my receivers and found most to
be pretty awful << 500KHz. Of course, most RX vendors do not spec
SINAD sensitivity << 500 KHz, or their spec is rather gross and
a 2$ xtal set would meet the spec.
