Interesting Warren - looking forward to the coming northern winter and the 'window of opportunity/mutual darkness' lengthening. -

I've bought a. 20ft ladder and looking forward to investigating possibilities for roof top antennaes at the new top floor apartment where I'm moving into today.

I've built a pvc supported multiturn  "square" loop 5ft sided with varactor tuning/K0LR preamp  here in the hotel room this past week much to the wonderment (perplexed looks mostly)  of the maid and floor security staff. They've got used to me over the past years, and this hotel is definitely radio friendly - or moreover tolerant of the eprobe sitting some 20ft above  the hotels sky line!
