[Lowfer] Beverage ground question

Hi Bill, Lowfers,

Thanks for your reply.  I think I'm going to have some fun doing experiments
with the Beverage or long-wire antenna I just installed.  There seems to be
a
lot of information on the various forms of these antennas, so there's likely
an
answer out there if I do enough digging for it.

The tree is only about 15 feet high, so I doubt if it's the antenna itself
unless
we're talking about frequecies in the HF range which aren't of interest to
me.
Alan Melia was wondering about the bi-directional characteristics of a non-
terminated Beverage.  His thinking was that without being terminated it is
more likely to behave as a just a long-wire.
