[Lowfer] XGR/2 + XES Full Duplex Monday night

Steve

Thanks for setting up the two grabbers! Full duplex seemed to work quite well.

Have an interesting interference problem on receive here...508.5 X 2 - 880 (WCBS NY) = 137 kHz. As I
bring the transmitter up in power I hear WCBS on the receiver tuned to John's frequency. Luckily
John is quite a bit stronger than the interference. Reduced the 2nd harmonic out of the transmitter
further (it's already quite low) with a tuned trap but this made no difference. Either I have a
'diode' out in the back yard or WCBS is coming down the TX antenna and mixing in the final
amplifier. Kinda doubt this since the antenna Q is so high.

Further investigation required.

Jay
