Ditto Alberto's comments! Two separate needs are being met by two different vehicles.

As you said in a previous post John, most people want to receive timely information via an e mail
reflector. Trying to force them into a Forum format is not going to work. Apparently
Lowfer_Notice at yahoogroups.com has been able to effectively pull off the e mail list thing. Perhaps
it works because of the clout they wield as a big player or that they have a full time staff looking
after the problems. Whatever the reason, it fills a need that most people have expressed...and
allows embedded images and attachments. Not all of us active LFers consider this ability as 'fluff'.
And, there is also convenient linking between the e mail list and Ted's Forum.

I'll stand by now so you can continue on about  how lazy we are for wanting to receive timely
information via an e mail reflector...
