They also have a specific MO and only succeed in attacking open groups,
subscribe by e-mail, shoot out the spam, then unsubscribe - completely
preventable, but difficult if not familiar with the confusing user interface
Yahoo uses.

I have recently been given a LowFER\MedFER\HiFER Yahoo list, 15 members,
closed the automatic subscription method, deleted all spam back to day
one...

Interestingly, while deleteing the spam, I noticed many people commenting
about the desire of migrating over, what with the ability to send screen
captures (a feature I particularly enjoy) without limit, the ability to
prevent spammers from joining, no HTML problems, no black-list problems,
etc., etc. ...  If interested, it is:

Most importantly!  All access can be done through e-mail for those not
interested in the web-group, very much like the LWCA and QTH reflectors but
without the many random crashes, malfluctuations (real or imagined) or
soliciting of funds:
