I have been trying to locate a couple of articles from Popular Electronics
involving construction of a transmitter and receiver for 1750 meters.

The issues were either January/February or February/March of either 1972 or
1973.

Can anyone help on this?  I am interested in trying my hand at this (heaven
help us all!)
