	AM only, no RF stage but surprising sensitivity.  If you wanted a 28V
BC set I suspect one would be very easy to convert, but don't think
there's much demand for those these days.

	Somewhere I've picked up the idea that these were almost throw-away
receivers, used in training and also installed temporarily in planes
being ferried and which had no other radio NAV gear.  A friend of my
wife's was a WAAF who ferried P-63's to Alaska on their way to Russia
and I think that she's the one who told me this.  They were pulled out
for reuse before final plane delivery to Russian pilots.
