Right. This is a very cute little 4-tube receiver which can mount in
an instrument panel using the same hole and mounting hole pattern as a
standard altimeter, tach, air speed indicator, etc. No where near as
good as the BC-453 or ARC5, but still a good receiver for the size and
purpose - uses 28V on the plates and a 28D7 for audio output as I
remember. They were available very cheap new in the 1950's and I
remember buying a bunch just for the nice 2-gang tuning capacitor. I
converted one to transistors in the very early transistor days and it
worked pretty well too. As a curiosity I'd say it was worth about ten
bucks in today's dollars.
