Stan - from here in Northern OKlahoma, on average, hifer beacons to my North
at around 600-1000 miles come in from just after dawn - continue thru the
day with occasional drop outs. In the afternoon I tend to get more West
coast (az) and Southern stations.
MP, GA and VD are the most consistent here at MP averages 14 hours a day
visible at qrss3.
Weaker other beacons with less freqency control wander in, out and across
too.
As ever, this is just an average and short high level signals from other
beacons pop out of the noise, some actually moving the S meter to S2/3.
Im using a resonated 137Khz LF loop for 13Mhz - not exactly the best array
but its VERY electrically quiet here and this loop is probably acting as a
NVIS array.
I listen /m as I drive around and often hear them clearly or clearer than at
home. Im a newbie to Hifer listenining.
Cheers
