[Lowfer] ARO

Thanks folks. I'll leave it running a few more hours,
then let it run again tomorrow all day. output is about
1.5mw, the vee is less than a quarter wave at 13 Mhz,
so I guess I am OK insofar as part 15 is concerned.
I can borrow an old decrepit Stoddard meter to check
my field strength should I run it any longer than this.
If folks are hearing me, then I am half tempted to build
a dedicated hifer beacon. Been thinking about a lowfer
for some time now, but no decent receiving antennas yet -
too lazy to put anything good together, that should not keep me
from putting up a lowfer beacon though...

And darnit, I *STILL* have not gotten the parts and
coils I posted about months ago that were pulled from
the GWEN site! grrrr. I saved them from a collapsing
warehouse, and the fellow that had them was going to
deliver the haul on a flatbed when he got a round tuit.

Eventually.....
