Interesting stuff!

I wonder if signals from the west coast have made it your way in the past?
Also of interest to me and perhaps Steve VE7SL would be reception of the
Canadian navy station at ~133.1KHz in parts east...  I'll try and run around
185.3 however, I won't be modulating just running CW tests of antenna
current wrt ground system variations.  The antenna is a 10m hieght T (really
an umbrella) with 15m top hat... I'm not holding my breath as I'm finding
the LOW bands a whole new ball of wax!

Any thoughts on modelling a loading coil and antenna?  My model based on my
research doesn't seem to fit the observed behaviour.  My coils self cap.
seems very high compared to prediction(by almost an order of magnitude.)
The self resonant f of the coil is also very low compared to prediction
(more then 1/2!) However, L is very close.  Does one model the coils Cself
in // with the coil or to ground? questions questions questions... Oh and my
ground here is aweful, measured ~100 ohms!
