Yah, and then after turning off the switch, as ordered, I could always 
solder a jumper wire around it.  :)

I have another fall-back approach that I have never heard discussed. These 
loops are so darn efficient due to their high Q that one can use a 15M 
perimeter loop to be a coupling loop into a giant loop hidden deep in the 
woods. In my case I would gain >12 db over what I am running now....... so 
"bring it on"!
