Okay, Bill, very good on loopology tips. Mike's note on the stop sign
followed my post w/ the question. Guess I envisioned a 4-cornered loop
because of your facility of dragging lengths of cu pipe high up in the
bows and thought 4 corners would be simple to string out. So okay
octagon, then that cancels my other thought of having coupling splices
to extend the top and sides pipes, 2 x 10ft = 20 x 4 = 80 total.

Fine on the dowel stiffeners on the other pipe and it helping avoid
joint fatigue. Makes sense. Got it on the pigtail ends and open pipes.
