There will be a regular 12 wpm CW ID -- the full "WD2XES". Last night, it
was being sent just before the "X". As I play with different modes, that may
change. But, yes, I should try a CW night.
That frequency represents a "hole" in the loran lines in the Eastern and
Central U.S. By the screen shots from last night, it was a fairly good
choice. I'll probably stick there for the time being.
BTW -- this is NOT going to be a full-time beacon, nor will it always be run
at high power. I'll do my best to let folks know when it will be running.
