My license is for 5 years from March 1st 2004 to March 1st 2009. I will only
do extremely short HP tests near 185kc just for a nice Grabber capture but
not to stay for any length of time that would create a stir amongst the
gang. I'll float around the bands as needed with anything up to 300w and yes
the loop as well as many other variations of the loop and flattop vertical.
I suppose if I am not off doing some HP experimenting, then I can let a
beacon run at Lowfer power levels in the Grabber. I definitely want to try
Bill's 3/4th inch copper pipe Eggbeater loop on a rotator with the top
hanging on a rope for the support.

Wow, Mike, so exciting, it's finally a reality.

Wondering, what's the time length of this new privilege? Yours seems
different in that our LowFER band is covered. ... Ahem ... you don't
plan on high power at 185, do you?

What are your plans as per the FCC petition granted for LF
experimentation?

How much power are you planning? Still terminating into a loop?

I don't even have the high power tuner built yet. The fixed caps are in
the
UK still... Snif sniff... I'll change the ID to 'XGI' tonight anyhow.
