What is the best way to synch a time/freq standard to 1 second
GPS pulses? I have a "normal" GPS receiver that I have not put
into operation just yet and will have 10 Mhz available, but was
just wondering about how to use the 1 second output for something
useful or fun.

That is not as ambitious as my ultimate project of getting an
all GPIB connected bench and using Labview to configure assorted
automated things just for fun. Heck with Labview you can write
modules for everything, could run beacons off it if I wrote a
module to turn a osc on and off, or for lowfer monitor power field
strength and adjust the matching network accordingly. Of course
that costs money. Heck right now I can't even afford an IEEE
card for my computer just to control my Fluke meter for assorted
things. Not smoking anything, just dreaming.
