Just use Paypal for payment so your covered incase of a no ship deal. I
bought parts from Eastern Europe before and didn't have any trouble. Just
look at the sellers rating and feedback and make your decision to buy from
them or not. Never buy from low feedback sellers unless you like risks. They
may be honest or crooked.

Watched bidding on ebay for two ceramic Vac Vari Caps, a 1,000 pF
Jennings went for $104; one like it, same type but 500 pF, went for
almost $160.

They were light for LF loop-ing where several K-pFs are needed. But
they were a good price overall.

Jennings is a well known U.S. maker. But also offered on ebay are
Soviet-block electronics including Vac Vars. Anyone have a thought on
dealing with a foreign ebay vendor from that area of the globe? -- or a
U.S.S.R product as mentioned?

I don't think the RF cares about country of origin, though the shipping
matter may be circumspect.
