Tom, we kind of touched on the problem of excessive height a couple of days 
ago with a diamond orientation. Peter and I questioned how one would turn a 
50/50 square loop (which fits within the hypothetical legal cylinder) to 
form a diamond. .....OR, maybe the cylinder looks something like the Leaning 
tower of Pizza? <G> After all we ARE talking about "maximum length" of a 
geometric object (the complete loop). I don't recall any words to the effect 
that the "length" had to be measured straight up.

Anywhere you want since the current is very close to being the same at all 
points around the loop.

Keep shooting the questions out, Tom. All the loopers (verticalers too), I'm 
sure, will be happy to help in any way we can.
