[Lowfer] [OT] Electrostatic Shield ?

Hey Gang ...

If one employs an isolation xfmr esp. for lowfer use for the rx,
pre-amp, possibly the pc, what are the good possibilities to think of on
grounding the input feed to the xfrm? And what about the electrostatic
shield, connected to house gnd? or, say, station gnd (ie separate earth
stake for the rx and ant lines)?

Reason I ask is safety. Don't want to fry the cat of other dear
critters that may traipse across the op table. Then too there's wifey
who may dare to ply about (yes, I've warned her).

The idea for the isolation is to preclude power line noise, also with
some ferrite and caps for noise reduction.
