Although the link is presently only found on the members' page, the article
itself is in an area that's available to the general public at:
http://lwca.org/library/articles/ag/aglf-apr2002.htm

It's one of the articles you'll soon find in the LOWDOWN Samples area of the
site. (Our own Mr. Answer Guy is the genuine original, by the way. He
started his newspaper career years before the so-called "Answer Guy" who has
the dot-com domain name. And he donates his--er, talents, to The LOWDOWN
around April 1 most years. What a guy.)

By way of followup, I understand that W$6DOH was so disappointed in May of
2002 to hear that the FCC was going to consider a 2200m ham band instead of
1750m, he stopped the two-story Greek Revival style radio shack at a single
story. Apparently, even if you are Richard N. Croesus, the extra cost of a
5064-foot tower as opposed to a mere 4028-feet means you have to economize
somewhere. We hope to have a sneak peek of the outside of his shack this
coming April.

By the way, you may recognize the location of the My-T-Tall Tower Company as
surprisingly close to one of our more prominent HiFERs. Nice thing about
HiFERs...no height restriction as long as you maintain the field strength
within limits.

:-)
