It's worth keeping an eye on Ebay for these things. I picked up a virtually
new 100 - 4000 pF 5kV unit last spring for $225.00. The mounting used tapped
holes at one end and a nut at the other, rather than clamp-around flanges,
so I was able to roll my own with some plexiglas and copper strap. The end
result is at:

Slight overkill for 1 watt, but the FCC may yet shed its grace upon me.
