[Lowfer] Antex SMT irons

How is the quality of these Antex irons? I looked at them also since I need
a variable temp iron for the surface mount stuff and also a need for it to
handle through hole without a whimper. I use a WP-60 Weller right now with
various tips but it is way too large for surface mount work.

OK, checked out the Antex.  Didn't recognize the name...  We had these in
the lab.  A nightamare to use as your fingers are as far back as the Weller!
My hands aren't that stable when soldering 20/1000ths parts four inches from
the tip.  I would like to find something you hold like a #2 pencil, right up
on the work.  Their prices were good however, $20 and up and I may go with
this if no luck elsewhere.
