You might also try leaving the receiver tuned to the bottom end of 80,40
and 20 meters while you're working around the shack - not necessarily
sitting in front of the receiver. Won't be long and you'll be
"subliminally" copying the conversations while you go about your other
activities. After enough practice you'll even be able to copy cw and
carry on a voice conversation with someone in the room.
