[Lowfer] How Far?

I have been pretty much camped on Dex's Medfer 1.704.983
watching the anomalies. In the last 3 nights I have had pretty much
uninterrupted copy on his signal. I have been stopping captures after
sunrise and restarting just before midnight but last night I  noticed  his
signal at 6pm so I started the captures and I am still seeing the signal 
at 10am.

Dex is 354 miles from me. Isn't this unusual for a Medfer to be copied
at this distance so well all night long and apparently some daytime 
coverage too??
