I sure got convinced that they were much harder in the old days from a
number of comments on this reflector earlier in the week. I plan to take the
test you posted but I took another test some months ago and was appalled by
the lack of basic technical knowledge required to do well. RF Safety was
more thoroughly covered! I suppose this makes good sense considering the
majority of new Hams have minimal interest in electronic theory and the main
obstacle to successful station operation is not knowing how to safely
connect and point an antenna.

Your going to have to beg longer than that! <G> I've still got some bugs to
work out. The latest in in the 11-step attenuator - and that is pretty darn
simple. I keep loosing the inspiration from all the distractions going on.
