"It's also plain that the ham community is getting too grey. (Yes, time
marches on.)  Growth has to include the younger groups at all means.
Alas, this may be the League's bigger life raft amid the churning sharks
over spectrum. Have we all heard "Use it or Loose it"?"

	That first statement could be made about any hobby requiring a bit of
brain power!  Seems today's kids would rather watch TV and play video
games than think  Get their science from Star Trek and the like and
their ethics from nowhere!

	A few hobbies of mine which are greying:

Ham radio

RC model airplanes

Shooting

Flying (power and gliders)

Astronomy

etc. etc.

	We ARE now living in "the good old days" - they ain't going to get any
better!!!
