I bought a 2-meter FM rig at a hamfest a couple of years ago and it still is
in the box on the shelf. Well at least I have a rig even if it doesn't get
used I guess. Come to think of it, I have a lot of radio stuff that sits and
doesn't get used.

Yeah, it always blows my mind to see "X-Rated Repeater" on the SoCal
repeater maps and frequency lists!!!!  I also a file of print outs of packet
cussfests and nice obscenities drawn out in ACSII sent out over packet.  I'm
not a prude, but this was sent out over what is widely spoken of as a
"family club".  One time I was cussed out for asking about an odd callsign I
was hearing when I first got on the air.  The fellow said it was for his
marine station and "f-you I can use my license anywhere I like, I paid for
it"
