1/4th inch LOL!!! That wouldn't even wink an eye up here. Now 4" of rain
would bring the rivers up to nice paddling levels for a few weeks and
definitely would cause a few crazies to smash their cars.

Trying to get the loop transformer set right but the darn NW wind is nasty
cold. Fun fun fun... I need a nap... LOL!!!

When we get these low-level intrusions of warm moist air that swing in
from the southwest, we get warm weather and rain anytime.  When it
happens later in the winter, say, February, we sometimes get snow out of
it, especially if a strong cold front has just pushed through.  That
happens every ten years or so.  you should see what happens!  The locals
go stark raving crazy!  A quarter of an inch of snow will bring traffic
and commerce to a complete halt!  OTOH, four inches of rain in a single
day does not bother us.
