Yuk. I seen radar and thought of how much fun it must be to be down there
right now. What's up with all the thunderstorms this winter? It normally is
screaming a#% cold up here and lately it has been 20-30F everyday.

Yes, and I think it's all coming from my area!!!  Right now we have
thunderstorms, rain and wind.  The thermometer reads a balmy 65 F right
now.  My local noise level has gone from -100 dBm all the way up to -74
dBm measured through the 20 Hz filter on the HP-3586.
