Dang! I wear three layers when I go out. I would love to find a windchill
chart good to -20 or -30 with winds to 100 MPH. I remember I begged to be
on the tower crew when working for Crawford/Meridian/Prime Sites, I was
dispatch at the time. The Boss said sure, have fun! My first job was on
KTLA's tower on Mount Wilson in December for fourteen hours running that big
hardline by hand. I thought it odd there was armor plates on the control
building, I was told it was because sometimes ice box size chunks of ice
would fall from the tower and that was to keep up from being crushed. I
begged to be put back on dispatch 'till spring.

I keep
seeing outside construction workers interviewed on TV and they all speak
about clothing layers, with 6 seeming to be the going number these days.
