[Lowfer] Slightly Off-Topic: Named Pipes

This appears to be an off-topic post but since it is a core component of an
LF project I can't seem to complete I thought I would ask the experts here.

Is anyone here familiar with Named Pipes in windows?

I can get them to work as IPC objects between programs I build but I am
having difficulty implementing them in DOS or Off-the-shelf software.

Any responses directly to me ( mike_staines@email.com ) would be
appreciated.
