Thanks Mike for giving the security guy a heads up. I'll call you from jail 
on the flip side of the trip! <G>

Actually, in defense of the security people, which I hold in high regard, 
the compound bow was broken down in three parts (removal of two screws) and 
didn't even look like a bow. It certainly imposed no threat because it takes 
about 5min to re-assemble and requires an allen wrench. There was a note 
attached to the suit case indicating that it had been opened. The two arrows 
(blunt tips) where inside a PVC pipe to prevent bending.
