Be careful about the direction of the 'noise floor jump'.  At sunrise the 
noise level jumps to a LOWER value. This actually increases the sensitiving 
of ARGO. In Dex's 00014.jpg, which depicts a sunrise event, all the signals 
drop out at the same time and the ARGO gain has just gone up, not down.
