Oops. Gotta like those 12 volts huh? That is sounding like a regular thing
on the reflector lately. Must be the cold fingies... I see the signal has
settled down a bit now.

You shouldn't have to guess now ... My beacon is shivering.
Decided that since it was so cold I would camp out here one more night.
Made some changes here over the weekend,. Yes, I was out at the base of the
antenna a lot yesterday when it was cold. I made a new PA and mounted it at
the antenna and brought the ALL-IN-ONE into the house so I could change
frequency, play around with some different modes, and be able to key it
manually if needed. Plus I added a screwdriver motor and some gears to
allow for remotely tuning the antenna. Interesting that I should do this
when it is was below zero so that I wouldn't have to go out to change things
when it gets cold out.
As to the drifting, I'm using the same XTAL controlled Programmer/Keyer as
before to be able to offset the frequency. Maybe it's because I moved it
closer to the charger for the battery plant? Oh well, looks interesting.
I should also add that I was originally going to use a 9832 DDS VFO I had
built to set the frequency . But I also put 12v to the breadboard
forgetting that I had removed the 5 volt regulator.
