[Lowfer] JASON - up and running?

Here is what I have to report:

I followed the steps I told you I would take - I now have the JASON 
commands for my message programmed into the exciter.  The exciter's 
frequency is set to 186450.

I'm all the way up to the point where I'm trying to decode it myself with 
my receiver...so far, no luck -- my receiver ... leaves alot to be 
desired.  It only tunes in 1 kHz steps and then tune around with the SSB 
knob -- not exactly an R75 (*almost*, but not quite :)

The received signal sounds the same to me now that the exciter is 
free-running JASON as it did when my computer was controlling it via JASON 
software...I can actually hear the steps (once it makes several).

The bottom line is:  I am now to the point I was afraid I'd get to...I 
THINK I'm sending good JASON but have not been able to decode it myself 
yet.

I'll continue to tune around and try to find my signal, but in the 
meantime it IS up and running 1-watt.  I'll keep it running all night and 
maybe one of you can receive it.
