He doesn't have one hell of a good antenna!  

It's a topband vertical on the 'Grabulator' at the moment, which is omni and good 
for the purpose of not diadvantaging anyone, but omni and bad for the purpose 
if there is the remotest sniffle of a thunderstorm anywhere in the western 
hemisphere, or a new electric toy shows up within a block.

I was remarking on this last night with Dex:  He, Lyle, John A. and *you* can all 
demonstrably 'hear' better than I can when you try.  The 'Grabulator's principal 
virtue is simply that it is there.
