The loop is pointing the wrong way. I did see a tiny bit of signal off it on
the grabber last night but when I switched to the flattop, the Grabber
showed an instant bright signal. The tuning was all over the place as the
wind whipped the flattop around near the tree resistors. It wouldn't even
radiate enough to get out of the state when it was over 32F yesterday. It
started to radiate decent when the temp dropped under 20F. I could see the
relative received signal go up all night with the biggest gains from 20-32F.
20F seems like the temp when things start acting normal. I did notice the
mushy snow changed to solid walk on top snow at ~ 20F. The mushy snowman
making snow must be lossy.
