I went back to that approach after having trouble with a 2 kHz "carrier"
(receiver tuned to 98 kHz in SSB mode) and using the SpecLab mixer to
downconvert back to zero. Still not able to see anything from the distant
Loran chains. Maybe my receiver is overwhelmed by the stuff coming from the
Baudette, MN transmitter.
