I didn't try for 2IQ until late this afternoon. As soon as I started
AFRICAM, I got the following copy:

Playing with the parameters didn't bring about much improvement, although it
did seem to help to set "FCAR" to 799 Hz, based on the numbers that were
jumping around on the screen. I went away and left things running for a
while. Still no perfect copy of the message, but since I could count the
characters, I set up first for GRAB 27:5, which was *almost* solid, and then
tried GRAB 27:9 with this result:
