Heard BOB in 10wpm cw at 7:30-8:00A this morning while trying to
capture it on Argo.

My frist cw-based LF reception. BOB is located 110 miles S of me and
I've tried to receive it before but using its nominal freq, because of
the 10 wpm sig. This time I tried QRSS3 in Argo as a result of Robert
Hoffswell's post on the LWCA board on lacking signal reports. The R8 rx
I use does not have a pitch control so the tuned freq is offset 600 Hz
lower than the expected tx freq (as per Mitch). Since I had some audio
coming through, though low enough to hush the usual band noise, I
started to pick up the cw. At first I thought it the result of a nearby
NDB, an image of sorts. Hey, hey, what a surprise.

Prior to this, only RB and LEK had reached high enough sig levels for
audio effect, but then, at QRSS30, its hardly cw.
